the drum kit is a must for any person playing the music sim games, i recomend anyone try it
If you are too far away from the TV all you can hear is an annoying tap tap smack smack of wood on plastic. My nephew and his friends only play the game when I am in town (which is over breaks and during summer).
It really stands out and can be quite an eyesore.Overall it works great for what it's supposed to do. Despite this, the pedal has already broken on the drum set (it's 7 months old).3) I don't like the color.
I really like this drum set. It's loud and annoying.2) The pedal WILL eventually break.
It's just a little too loud and a little too fragile. I have played on it quite a bit since my nephew got the game in August 08.Pros:1) It feels very lifelike; I've never drummed in real life, but it feels like I'm actually playing the song.2) Adjustable height - great feature depending on who is drumming and the size of the chair one is using.3) Easy to take apart and put back together.Cons:1) It's __loud__.
Even playing the game with a less than mediocre drummer can ruin your rhythm because the sound of the plastic drum drowns out the actual drum beat from the TV.
Fortunately, they were delivered before Christmas which really made for a wonderful gift. This purchase was for the drums that needed to be replaced on the Wii Rock Band Drum Set. The children were so excited that we purchased them as their Christmas gift.
We tried the 800 number for nintendo/wii but NO help, impossible to find/speak to a human being for help. Second, when we plugged it to the wii it never worked. We determined it is a faulty set so will exchange it.Our concern is that we found many blogs in the internet reporting lots of problems with the drum set so buyer beware. We purchased this product for Christmas. First, it has no instructions.
Foot pedal and drums could be a little more sturdy. Excellent game. Hours of fun.
